Local Stakeholder Consultation Meeting
The wastewater treatment project at the Luan Thanh Factory is designed to capture methane emissions from starch processing wastewater and utilize the recovered gas for on-site energy use, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing environmental quality.
The project contributes to reducing air and water pollution, replacing fossil fuel use, and promoting sustainable wastewater management. It also supports local communities by improving working conditions and creating potential opportunities for use of the treated sludge as bio-fertilizer.
As part of this process, Agasco invites all local stakeholders, community members, and interested parties to participate in the upcoming Local Stakeholder Consultation for the above-mentioned project. The purpose of the meeting is to share project details, discuss its potential environmental and social benefits, and gather valuable feedback from stakeholders.
