Managing Director
Agasco was founded in 2017 by carbon market veteran Ben Atkinson. Ben was a co-founder of the carbon market pioneer Agrinergy, which developed and registered over 70 emissions reduction projects from 2003 on. He was a member of the UNFCCC CDM Small Scale Working Group from 2015 to 2017, and he has also successfully developed several CDM methodologies.
Carbon Project Manager
Sanjith Kakkat is a Carbon Project Manager with experience in developing and managing carbon reduction projects under Verra, Gold Standard, and CDM. At Agasco, he oversees the full cycle of carbon projects, from design and implementation to monitoring, validation & verification process, and ensuring compliance with international standards. He also works closely with auditors and stakeholders for validation and verification.
Carbon Project Associate
Payal brings a strong blend of academic and professional expertise in sustainability and the carbon market. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sustainability from Delhi University, she has accumulated three years of experience as a data analyst, where she honed her skills in data management, analysis, and reporting.
In her role as Carbon Project Associate at AGASCO, she provides critical oversight for carbon project validation and verification. She plays a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of carbon project design, from initial conceptualization to ongoing monitoring and verification processes.
Carbon Market Associate
Chelsea joined Agasco in 2024 as a Graduate Carbon Market Associate. She holds a BSc in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MSc in Global Management of Natural Resources from University College London. Through her academic background, she has developed a strong foundation in environmental and natural resource management, with a particular focus on the energy sector and carbon markets.
In her role at Agasco, Chelsea works on carbon reduction projects, supporting and overseeing project development, conducting financial and market analysis, and contributing to the assessment of carbon policies and regulatory frameworks. She assists in the delivery of climate and emissions reduction initiatives across voluntary and compliance carbon markets.
Marketing and Business Development Lead
An joined Agasco in 2024 as the Market and Business Development Lead. She earned her BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut and MSc in Sustainability from Brunel University London. In her role as the Sales and BD Associate, An marries her passion for sustainability along with her background in marketing and sales to oversees all marketing, sales, and business development activities within the company.
General Director
Ha is an experienced Project Manager, specialising in wastewater treatment and methane recovery. He has a demonstrated history of working in the renewables and environmental industry and currently leads our operations in Vietnam.
Office Manager
Hue is an accomplished accountant with nearly 14 years experience in the field, contributing to project operations in Vietnam for over 10 years. Hue shares a passion for climate action and is excited to use her skills to contribute to Agasco’s mission.
Managing Director, Indonesia
Since 2006, Made has developed dozens of projects in Indonesia, generating more than 15 million CERs from hydropower, associated gas recovery, geothermal energy, and biogas. As a pioneer in Indonesian carbon markets and Secretary General of the Indonesian Carbon Development Association, Made has a longstanding network across both private and government sectors.
Project Specialist
Andre is a graduate from IPB University where he earned his degree in Forestry Conservation, fuelling his passion for sustainability and climate change. At Agasco, Andre oversees multiple emission reduction projects across Indonesia, including hydropower and associated gas recovery.
Maria has spent the last 10 years working in finance and accounting. Since joining Agasco, she has assisted in administering projects in Indonesia.
